SBiH Club Initiative: One Million KM for FK Željezničar!

(Patria) - Adnan Spahić, head of the Party for BiH Club in Novo Sarajevo, announced that an initiative has been sent requesting that one million convertible marks be allocated in the Municipality's budget for Football Club Željezničar.

The Program of the candidate for the mayor of the municipality, Muamer Bandić, also plans special allocations for FK Željezničar, so the initiative of the SbiH Club is also in that direction.

„FK Željezničar is not just a sports club, but an institution that has been uniting generations for decades, inspiring young people, and representing everything that Novo Sarajevo and our city stand for – the strength of unity, love for sports, and unwavering passion for success. Why is Željezničar important for our community?

Symbol of tradition and pride: Founded in 1921, FK Željezničar has become one of the most important symbols of our city through its rich history. Its story connects people of all ages, regardless of social differences.

Support for youth: The club is not only focused on the senior team. Its youth academy trains hundreds of young players, giving them opportunities for sports and personal development, and guiding them on the right path.
Unity: Željezničar is not just a sports collective, but also a gathering place for fans, families, and all those who have blue in their hearts. Its successes are celebrated throughout Sarajevo, and the Grbavica stadium is a place that carries special emotion for all of us“, wrote Spahić.

According to him, the proposed amount of one million KM would be directed towards: Maintenance and improvement of the Grbavica stadium infrastructure – the place where we gather and cheer for our team, support for the youth academy – to ensure that Željo continues to nurture new generations of athletes and good people, development of sports and social programs – so that Željezničar continues to play a key role in the lives of our fellow citizens.
