Find out where traffic regime changes are on roads in BiH

On most road routes in BiH this morning, traffic is flowing without extraordinary restrictions, reports the Patria news agency. 

Due to road damage on the M-5 Transit highway through Sarajevo, the traffic regime has been changed. Vehicles up to 7.5 tons and buses use the alternative route from the direction of Pale, namely Bistrik-Hamdije Kreševljakovića-Terezija-Vraca, while for all other vehicles the alternative route is through the city.

From the opposite direction, vehicles up to 7.5 tons and buses use the route Dolac Malta- Azize Šaćirbegović-Vraca intersection-Terezija-Hamdije Kreševljakovića-Bistrik, while for all other vehicles the alternative route is through the city.

Due to works on the repair of expansion joints on two bridges on the A-1 Podlugovi-Sarajevo north highway section, traffic (over a length of approximately 4 km) is moving in both directions, using the right traffic lane. 

Starting today, rehabilitation works begin on the northern entrance to Mostar (on the section from Zalik to the National Theatre), due to which traffic will be suspended for vehicles over 7 tons. The alternative route for this category of vehicles is the southern entrance to Mostar.

We also highlight other sections where rehabilitation works are being carried out and where the traffic regime has been changed: Doboj-Gračanica, Bugojno-Novi Travnik, Čelinac-Kotor Varoš, Jablanica-Prozor, Čapljina-Stolac and Konjic-Jablanica. We advise drivers to drive carefully, maintain a safe distance between vehicles, and avoid risky overtaking.

At border crossings, waiting times are up to 30 minutes. During the day, we expect increased vehicle frequency, especially at the Doljani border crossing, so we advise drivers to inform themselves about current waiting times at border crossings before setting off on their journey. Due to works in Croatia, until August 31, traffic for freight vehicles is banned at the Brčko-Gunja border crossing, BIHAMK announced.
