INCIDENT NEAR MOSQUE Three arrested in Jajce

(Patria) - Last night in the center of Jajce, an incident occurred during the passage of a wedding procession. According to information from Istrag.ba, three people were arrested.

As previously announced by the Municipal Board of SDA Jajce, the procession stopped in front of the city mosque, where some participants, waving ethnic flags and chanting loudly, disturbed public order and peace with the clear intention of provocation.

It is particularly concerning, SDA states, that one of the participants in the wedding procession verbally attacked Rasim Šahman, an SDA councilor in the Municipal Council of Jajce, who was in his vehicle at the time, at the traffic lights. The attack was reported to the Jajce Police Station.

SDA Jajce emphasized in its statement that such actions disrupt the stable and peaceful atmosphere that the city has cultivated for years, and strongly condemned them. The party called on the police and judiciary to sanction those responsible in accordance with the law, and urged citizens to contribute to preserving mutual respect and prevent the recurrence of similar incidents.
