Names of Candidates for the House of Peoples of the FBiH Parliament from the Sarajevo Canton Assembly

The Central Election Commission (CEC) of Bosnia and Herzegovina has verified 15 submitted candidate lists with the names of 33 candidates for the election of delegates from the Sarajevo Canton Assembly to the House of Peoples of the Parliament of the Federation of BiH, and has certified 11 lists and made three decisions to refuse certification because the nominated candidates declared themselves differently regarding their national affiliation.

For the election of delegates from the Bosniak people, the lists of representatives Dževad Rađo, which also includes the names Adnan Solaković, Izudin Bajrović, Selma Filipović, and Ismir Jusko, then the candidate list of representative Amel Mekić, and the list of representative Goran Akšamija, which includes the names Mirsad Pindžo, Neira Avdibegović, and Mersiha Omerbegović, have been certified.

The list of representative Muhamed Kozadra has been certified, with Sabahudin Delalić, Elvedin Okerić, Mirza Čelik, and Amar Dovadžija also nominated. The candidate list of the Party of Democratic Action has been certified with the names Amor Mašović, Fikret Prevljak, Elmedin Konaković, Kemal Ademović, and Eldar Čomor.

For the election of delegates from the Serb people, the candidate list of representative Slaviša Šućur has been certified, as well as the list of Our Party, which includes the name Predrag Kojović.

For the election of delegates from the Croat people, the list of representative Ana Babić, which also includes the name Zvonko Marić, as well as the list of representative Mario Vukasović, have been certified. From the group of other peoples, the lists of representative Segmedina Srna Bajramović, as well as representative Sejo Bukva, have been certified.

We remind you that the CEC of BiH refused to certify the lists from the Serb people for the House of Peoples of the Parliament of the Federation of BiH from the Sarajevo Canton Assembly because the proposed candidates Rasim Smajić, Haris Pleho, and Nermin Bjelak had different national declarations in the General Elections of 2010 and the Local Elections of 2012, namely Serbs and Others, respectively.

An urgent session of the Sarajevo Canton Assembly has been scheduled for Friday.
