Imam in Jablanica asked Musa's supporters to leave the mosque area

(Patria) - Sanin Musa, who announced organised prayer for Muslim believers in Široki Brijeg, thus causing several days of tension, is currently at an informational interview at the police station in Sarajevo, confirmed the Federal Police Administration.

"He was invited for an informational interview and is currently at the premises of the Federal Police Administration," said the police agency. They added that they could not speak about other details.

Earlier, someone posted on his Facebook profile that Musa had been taken to the police. "He was supposed to lead Muslim believers towards Široki Brijeg," the post stated.

He had previously announced that he would lead 1000 Muslim believers to perform Islamic religious rites in Široki Brijeg.

He announced a gathering in Jablanica at 11:30 AM, but it is already clear that his plan has failed - exactly six of his supporters gathered at the scheduled time.

They were in the area of the local mosque in Jablanica, but the chief imam asked them to leave the premises.

The police banned the gathering, but he nevertheless announced yesterday that he would not give up on the protest, stating that 'Bosnian defiance' had kicked in.
