Does Izetbegović have enough wisdom to realize that under his leadership both the SDA and the state are disappearing?

There was once a ship. Solid construction, stable, huge. It was called the Titanic. And it knew where it was sailing. Its captains knew how to steer it. But accidents happen. Unpredictably.

There is another ship. Weak construction, small, almost insignificant to the world. It is called Bosnia and Herzegovina. It neither knows where it is sailing nor do its captains know how to steer it, writes the Patria news agency. 

The accidents that happen to this country and its citizens are not unpredictable. On the contrary, they are premeditated.  

The agony (read: sinking) has lasted more than two decades.

But what has been happening from October 2014 until today is unprecedented. Everything is more uncertain and worse and worse.  

The suffering of this country and its citizens will last until 2018. Until some new elections. Until the arrival of some new, hopefully wiser political minds, who will take the captain's role more seriously and have a vision of how to lead a state.   

Citizens of BiH are certainly ashamed when they watch and listen to Denis Zvizdić, Bakir Izetbegović, Dragan Čović, Mladen Ivanić... lying to European officials that much has been done in terms of reforms, fulfilling conditions for the EU and NATO...

They don't even blink when deceiving those who persistently throw us a lifeline, while we pretend to know how to swim.

What has been done from October 2014 until today?

Nothing, absolutely nothing. Everything has even gone backwards.

No one wants to work with anyone, everyone wants to work with everyone. Crazy, confused... there is no normal person.

Just as Dragan Čović agrees with Fahrudin Radončić to enter the government, to form a solid majority in parliament, Mladen Bosić comes out and says I will not work with Radončić.

Then Radončić comes out and says I will not work with Bosić either. Then Čović does not want Martin Raguž. Bosić does not want Milorad Dodik.

In the meantime, Bakir Izetbegović gathers small, almost insignificant political parties that survive on life support, and offers them ministerial positions just to gather 50 votes in the FBiH Parliament, which is identical to the situation during the Alliance for Changes when no deputy was allowed to even go to the toilet, let alone get sick and miss a session.

It is no news that Bakir Izetbegović has proven inadequate for the position of SDA president, let alone the statesman role.

Even the birds on the branch know that he is controlled by Zvizdić, Asim Sarajlić, Aljoša Čampara, and Amir Zukić, who together, when gathered in one place, do not have enough political experience or pragmatism for even an average politician.

Izetbegović's ignorance, but also his lack of interest, have brought this country into a state of chaos unseen in the past two decades. Court decisions are not respected, a pensioner sits in the position of FBiH police director, the little misery of natural resources and companies that have not yet been plundered is being squandered.

Is there anyone near him to explain, to guide him and tell him that the state of BiH is going to hell? To tell him that citizens are emigrating en masse?

To tell him that he is the president of the strongest Bosniak party, which he is now destroying with his negligence, and that he is responsible for both the party and the state?

To tell him that in politics, personal animosities and relationships do not exist, but that there are citizens, those who elected him and those who live (still in this country), and that the solution is not to gather small parties and form a coalition whose only goal is plunder, employing relatives, friends, and unconditionally staying in power.

The late Alija Izetbegović entered history as the founder and true leader with a firm hand. As the first president of the RBiH. Commander of the RBiH Army. He led his people and this country.  

If Bakir continues on the path that others are charting for him (and it is all based on crime and robbery), he will enter history as the politician who destroyed the party his father built, who destroyed the state for which 200,000 people died, and who brought Bosniaks to the very bottom.

There is still time until the elections (although the unscrupulous destruction of everything is underway), but is there enough wisdom?
