Igman from Konjic better than Zvijezda 09 in a goal fest

(Patria) - The Igman team won points in their first official Premier League of BiH match of the season.

The Konjic team, whose match with Željezničar was previously postponed, achieved a victory today in Ugljevik over the home team Zvijezda 09 with a score of 3:4, writes SCsport.ba.

In the match of the second league round, Igman took the lead in the 30th minute. Mešić made an excellent cross, and the visiting captain Anel Hebibović shot with his head, the ball bounced off the crossbar into Zvijezda's goal.

Just six minutes later, Danoski equalized. However, within five minutes, the inspired Hebibović scored two goals and completed his hat-trick, and the visitors went into halftime with a 1:3 lead.

Sedad Subašić revived the hopes of Zvijezda 09 players of avoiding defeat when he scored to make it 2:3 in the 72nd minute.

However, two minutes later, Mešić, assisted by Đorić, found the net for the home team to make it 2:4.

In stoppage time, Zvijezda reduced the deficit to 3:4 through Tomanović. It turned out to be the final score.

Igman had an excellent start to the season, while Zvijezda recorded their second defeat, with as many as nine goals conceded in just two rounds.
