IGK's appeal to Komšić and Bećirović: Immediately initiate the dismissal of BiH Ambassador to Serbia Aleksandar Vranješ

(Patria) - The Institute for Research of Genocide Canada (IGK) issued a statement tonight regarding the scandal caused by the Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to Serbia, Aleksandar Vranješ.

"We are asking the Chairman of the Presidency of BiH Željko Komšić and the member of the Presidency of BiH Denis Bećirović to immediately initiate the procedure for the dismissal of the BiH Ambassador to Serbia.

After the Ambassador of BiH to Serbia, Aleksandar Vranješ, scandalously, anti-civilizationally, and above all, anti-state, thanked Aleksandar Vulin, the director of the Serbian intelligence service, for accommodating two BiH students who publicly glorified crimes and the convicted war criminal Ratko Mladić, thereby directly committing prohibited actions against the state he represents and from which he is well paid, we demand an urgent opening of the procedure for the dismissal of the aforementioned ambassador.

It can no longer be tolerated for ambassadors to work against their own country that pays them well. If the ambassador is not recalled, it could show that indiscipline and disrespect for one's own country pay off. That they become more important in the eyes of those who sent them, as well as the anti-Bosnian coalition that supports them in lobbying against the state of BiH.

We need diplomats who will truly defend and strengthen state interests. Ambassadors must not favor any political ideology or option; they should defend and strengthen the state of BiH.

Such destroyers of the state of BiH are continuously sent to diplomatic positions. Such ambassadors contradict their own country, which they do not actually recognize, while allegedly representing it diplomatically.

No ambassador who commits an act harmful to BiH should remain solely within the responsibility of only that member of the Presidency of BiH who nominated them.

The constitutional competence and responsibility for conducting foreign policy lie with the Presidency of BiH as a state institution," stated IGK Canada.
