Ideology of perversion: Why Dodik's narrative is not politics but a threat

The narrative that Milorad Dodik has been repeating for years is not a political strategy; it is an ideological matrix deeply rooted in perversion, monstrosity, and historical hatred towards Muslims.

This is not a new phenomenon, nor is it a product of today's political struggle. Everything Dodik does and says is a direct consequence of the continuity of a policy that has already left a bloody trail here: genocide, war crimes, camps, mass rapes, organized "safaris" to kill Bosniaks, burned property, wiped-out families.

Whoever wants to understand Dodik should just remember 1992–1995. He was politically formed in that perversion, he lives and acts politically within that mindset. What we are witnessing today is not an incident, but the continuation of the same ideology by other means. Therefore, the story that Dodik is not like that, that he is just acting, is profoundly wrong. Simply put, things should be called by their proper names.

Dodik's rhetoric of insults, denial of genocide, demonization of Bosniaks, every call for secession is just an extension of the matrix that once led to mass crimes, and ultimately to genocide.

And nothing in his geopolitical environment is accidental. Look at his political and personal allies: Aleksandar Vučić, a man who said that "for one Serb, I will kill a hundred Muslims"; Viktor Orbán, an open opponent of Muslim migrants, a politician who uses Islamophobia as official state policy; Benjamin Netanyahu, who today, under the pretext of security, implements brutal policies towards Palestinians, while at the same time his advisors cooperate with Dodik; Vladimir Putin, who treats Islamic nations in the Caucasus through repression, wars, and special operations.

Dodik's Israeli PR advisors, the same ones who have been creating propaganda based on the demonization of Muslims for years.

This is the club Dodik naturally belongs to, a club of leaders who consider Muslims a threat, a lower category of people, a problem that needs to be "solved".
All this clearly indicates that Dodik is not pursuing any "policy of protecting Serbian interests"; he is pursuing a policy based on hatred of Muslims, destruction, and a complete negation of the existence of Bosniaks as a people.

When everything is put into context – from genocide, camps, and rapes, through denial and political brutalism, to contemporary alliances – it becomes clear that Dodik is not a politician in the classic sense. He is the carrier of the continuity of an ideology that once turned into barbarism.

And that is why he should be presented in his true light, not as a leader, but as the loudest symbol of a policy whose essence is hatred. Simply, Dodik – a hater. And he sows hatred that has already cost thousands of lives.

Hatred that, if not stopped, always has the potential to turn into violence again.
