(Patria) - The Agency for Identification Documents, Data Processing and Exchange of Bosnia and Herzegovina (IDDEEA) has fixed the malfunction and the IDDEEA information system, which had certain problems yesterday, has been restored and is now fully functional without issues.
"The provision of services to our users, as well as data exchange with all competent authorities, is proceeding smoothly today. After 18 hours of continuous work to resolve these issues, the IDDEEA BiH technical team has restored the Agency's information system to full functionality.
Given that the equipment was purchased in 2012, the Agency has repeatedly planned the procurement of adequate equipment for these purposes, but we have not been able to realize it due to a lack of budget, which means we do not have an adequate way to replace it even though it is considered obsolete.
Despite these challenges, the Agency's employees have made additional efforts to normalize the situation, and we can once again confirm that the system is now functioning without difficulties," the statement said.
