Independent Bloc leader Senad Šepić also at tomorrow's protest walk

(Patria) - The number of public figures and opposition party representatives who have confirmed they will attend the open protest walk announced by Mirsad Hadžikadić from the Platform for Progress is growing.

Today, their attendance was confirmed by the leaders of parties that jointly sit in the Sarajevo Canton Assembly: Nermin Nikšić, Ibrahim Hadžibajrić, Predrag Kojović and Elmedin Konaković.

We also asked for a comment from Senad Šepić, president of the Independent Bloc, a party that achieved a very good result in the last elections and has elected and very active representatives in several cantonal assemblies, as well as in the parliaments of the Federation and the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Bearing in mind that he himself has long advocated for the adoption of a new election law, the introduction of electronic voting and scanning of ballots, and that in early May he himself issued public calls to the entire opposition and the international community to ensure electronic voting and fair elections, and if they cannot do that, then he would call on people to resolve it on the street, he predictably confirmed that he supports every form of action and organisation of forces for change in Bosnia and Herzegovina and that he will personally be part of the protest walk tomorrow.

He once again called on all opposition, civil society, non-governmental organisations and free media to engage in the broadest joint and organised action for change throughout BiH.

“Such a broad, joint appearance by all of us will encourage and move people, from Una to Drina and from Sava to the sea, because they will see that there is a force that understands the whole of Bosnia and Herzegovina and views every inch of it equally, and is not limited only to the capital, nor to the concept of politics that views some cantons as twice as valuable as others, or municipalities that are worth more than ten others. With this approach and joint work on adopting a new Election Law that will enable electronic voting and prevent bad politics from being preserved through vote theft, I am sure we can make big changes, which will unleash the enormous potential of the people in BiH and kickstart the development of the entire country”, stated Senad Šepić, president of the Independent Bloc.
