Croatian athlete Blanka Vlašić won silver in an interesting World Championship final. She cleared 2.01m on her first attempt, but couldn't clear 2.03m.
Gold was won by Russia's Mariya Kuchina, who cleared 2.03m without a miss, and bronze went to her compatriot Anna Chicherova, who also cleared 2.01m but with more attempts.
Interestingly, Kuchina had never cleared 2.01m in her career before the final in Beijing, and now she won gold with that height.
