Hrasnica: Boys Impress with Their Football Skills

Yesterday in Hrasnica, the FAIR PLAY CUP 2016 tournament for age groups 2007/2008/2009 concluded, reports the Patria news agency. After two beautiful days of socializing, victories, defeats, tears and joy, the following results were achieved: in the 2007 generation, the boys of Željezničar lifted the winner's trophy, while second and third place went to ŠF Šampion and FK Sarajevo.

It should certainly be noted that FK Sarajevo arrived with several teams, arranged by coach Vernes Salkičević, and they won several individual awards. In the 2007 age group, Arman Hasković was declared the best goalkeeper.

In the 2008 generation, FK Željezničar won first place, second place went to Novi Grad, and third place was taken by the boys from Tempo from Zenica.

In the 2009 generation, the youngsters of FK Sarajevo lifted the winner's trophy, and their member Arman Smječanin was named tournament player. In the final, Sarajevo defeated Mlade nade with a high 7:0, who won the silver medals. In third place was ŠF Sporting.

One of the organizers, Dženan Hošić, said that both parents and boys showed why football is the most important secondary thing in the world.

Most of those present were surprised by the football knowledge of the youngsters, as well as their fight for the jersey.

- This way, and of course with pleasure, we should first of all praise the parents who showed how to cheer for their child and their team, and that made these days more beautiful, thank you. I hope everyone felt comfortable and that we will socialize again - Hošić emphasized.

The awards were presented to the boys by Sedin Torlak and Sanel Jahić, whose son Džan (a member of Željezničar) was also declared the best player of the tournament in the older categories.
