During the match between FK Sarajevo and NK Čelik, fans of the Bordeaux club raised a banner with the message "Let last night's tragedy be a lesson to all that weapons have no place among fans," writes the Bosnian news agency Patria.
This message came about due to the brutal murder of FK Željezničar fan Mirza Raščić (26), who was killed out of pure malice by Izudin Tahirović. Raščić sustained fatal wounds at the Grbavica stadium on Thursday around 7:10 PM.
The Bosnian public is appalled by this event. We have seen such messages in the stands before, but it is clear that the time has come for violence to be stopped in a different way.
The funeral for the Željo fan will be held on April 18 at 2:00 PM at the Vlakovo cemetery.
