(Patria) - Investors from Saudi Arabia are determined to organize one of the Masters 1000 series tennis tournaments as early as 2025.
The Saudis are specifically offering to buy the license for the Masters in Madrid or in Miami, and other options are also being considered, such as a large investment that would condition a change in the competition calendar.
Also, the goal is to take over the organization of the ATP Finals in Turin in the future, the season-ending tournament, which begins on Sunday.
For now, they have secured the organization of the Next Gen ATP Finals, the tournament for the biggest talents in men's tennis at the end of the season, until 2027.
