Emergency Session of the FBiH Government: Annulment of the Decision on Fund Distribution

(Patria) - The Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, starting at 9 AM, will hold an emergency session to review previously made decisions on the distribution of funds to lower levels of government – cantons, cities, and municipalities, for the purpose of combating the coronavirus.

The Government informs the public that funds based on the previous decision have not been paid out, and that there will be no payments until the Government declares itself on the proposals for amending the method of distributing the said funds.

The Prime Minister of the Federation of BiH, Fadil Novalić, will present a proposal at the Government session to direct the said funds of 21 million KM directly towards the procurement of medical and other equipment for combating the coronavirus, which will be distributed to the most vulnerable areas in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, instead of to cantonal and municipal budgets.
