Urgent Session of the House of Representatives of BiH PS on September 23, BiH Presidency Proposed Budget

(Patria) - An urgent session of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH has been scheduled for Tuesday, September 23, with the Draft Law on the Budget of Institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina and international obligations of Bosnia and Herzegovina for 2025 on the agenda, proposed by the BiH Presidency.

The proposal is to consider the Budget under an urgent procedure.

This is the proposal adopted by the BiH Presidency on August 21.

This proposal also includes an amendment by Željko Komšić, proposing 5 million KM for the Central Election Commission (CIK) for the implementation of early elections for the President of Republika Srpska.

The budget for 2025 is planned at 1.55 billion KM.

This budget also includes funds for BHRT in the amount of 22 million KM for the settlement of debts and obligations, as well as transfers to cultural institutions of importance to BiH in the amount of 7.9 million KM.

Compared to 2024, an increase is planned for the Ministry of Defence of BiH, the Indirect Taxation Authority (UIO), the Border Police of BiH, the Intelligence-Security Agency (OSA)...
