
(Patria) - Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Željko Komšić met in New York with the President of South Korea Yoon Suk Yeol.
The bilateral meeting between the Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the President of South Korea is also the first meeting between officials of the two countries at the highest level.
During the meeting, relations between the two countries were discussed.
The President of South Korea Yoon Suk Yeol expressed particular satisfaction with the meeting, which he called historic. During the meeting, Yoon Suk Yeol announced that South Korea plans to open an embassy in Sarajevo.
The President of South Korea requested the support of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the second round of voting regarding the organization of Expo 2030.
Yoon Suk Yeol stated that South Korea will continue with various projects of practical benefit that it implements in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Željko Komšić assessed the political relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and South Korea as excellent, emphasizing that there is room for improvement in economic cooperation, as well as cooperation in the fields of education, culture, and sports.
The Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Željko Komšić invited the President of South Korea for an official visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina.
