(Patria) - Impressive demonstration flights by the Romanian EUFOR aviation unit were held yesterday at Butmir base, organized on the occasion of the Day of the Romanian Air Force and Air Warfare.
During the event, pilots performed a series of tactical maneuvers and exercises above the base, showcasing a high level of training, coordination, and technical readiness.
The dynamic exercises were also a clear reminder of the key role that EUFOR aviation plays in ensuring support and assistance to the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina in emergency and crisis situations.
Citizens of Ilidža and other places near Sarajevo have been asking us in recent days what is happening and why helicopters are flying low, but now that has also been clarified.
Our helicopters are always ready for the mission and are adapted to operate even in the most challenging conditions. Today's flights are a symbol of our dedication, partnership, and readiness to act whenever necessary, EUFOR said.
From EUFOR command, it was stated that they are proud that the Romanian contingent serves side by side with other international forces in BiH, contributing to stability and security in the country.
Congratulations were extended to all members of the Romanian Air Force on the occasion of the Day of Aviation and Air Warfare.
