Helez with Military Attaché Adams: The United States is our friend and key foreign policy partner

(Patria) - Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Minister of Defense Zukan Helez
held a meeting on Friday, April 18, 2025, with the Military Attaché of the United States of America
(USA) to BiH, Brigadier Erik R. Adams.

Minister Helez emphasized on this occasion that the meetings with Brigadier Adams are regular and substantive, and that they always result in concrete projects that further enhance the already exceptionally productive cooperation between the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces of BiH with the United States of America.

The focus of today's meeting was the multi-day visit of Minister Helez to the United States of America next week, during which he will have high-level meetings with representatives of the United States government at the Pentagon.

“I am the first state minister from the region, and among the first in the world, to visit the USA after the formation of the new administration. This visit is an opportunity to further strengthen our partnership and ensure the continued support of the United States for Bosnia and Herzegovina. The United States is our friend and key foreign policy partner,” emphasized Minister Helez.

At the end of the meeting, the minister thanked Brigadier Adams for his continuous support for the sovereignty,
territorial integrity, and multi-ethnic character of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as for the assistance to the Ministry of Defense of BiH and the contribution to strengthening the capabilities of the Armed Forces of BiH.
