(Patria) - Former president of the BiH entity RS Milorad Dodik uses every opportunity to deny and insult the state of BiH and its Armed Forces - apparently that is his only way to still attract public attention and media, wrote today on his Instagram profile the Minister of Defence of BiH Zukan Helez.
"If, as Dodik claims, 'there is no state of Bosnia and Herzegovina', then I ask him publicly: Why, Milorad, are you no longer the president of the administrative part of BiH called RS? Why did you pay a court fine according to the law of the state you do not recognize," Helez stated.
The minister assesses that Dodik's statements to the public today serve only one purpose - to preserve the support of intellectually inferior, nationalism-infused followers.
"That he is politically irrelevant became clear even in Serbia, where they treated him as a 'Bosnian bear', paraded him around events and made a political circus out of him. At the military parade in Belgrade, he peeked from the third row, hoping someone would stand up to give him a better position.
As for the military parade in Belgrade - it was a complete fiasco of Vučić's regime. No serious international official attended.
The message is clear: Vučić is pushing Serbia to the margins of the international community, shoulder to shoulder with entities like South Ossetia and Abkhazia," Helez believes.
According to his words, that parade looked more like a bad historical reconstruction than a serious display of modern military power.
"While the rest of Europe deals with the future, Vučić decides to once again parade tanks from museums and planes that flew while Slobodan Milošević waved from the balcony.
If that was supposed to be a demonstration of strength - the message is received: Serbia is deeply stuck in the past. Bosnia and Herzegovina is not afraid of weapons from museums.
We are not afraid of tanks older than the soldiers driving them, nor of a parade built on propaganda. We are only concerned about the policy that still dreams of a 'Greater Serbia', despite history having clearly spoken about that dream.
Instead of parading, Vučić could finally organize a parade of acknowledging reality: that Serbia's neighbours are sovereign states, that there will be no new borders, and that the Balkans will never again be a playground for other people's complexes," concluded Zukan Helez in his post.
