HDZ, Trojka, satellites and owners of 'expensive hands' passed amendments to the Rules of Procedure of the FBiH House of Representatives: Darkness in Parliament!

(Patria) - After a stormy and extensive debate on amendments to the Rules of Procedure of the FBiH House of Representatives, the majority consisting of HDZ BiH, Trojka, satellite parties and the "hands" of individuals passed the mentioned amendments to the Rules of Procedure.

With these amendments, according to the opposition, democracy in FBiH is being derogated or abolished, the rights of parliamentarians are being restricted, and members of the majority are allowed to avoid attending sessions during debates, as they come to vote as instructed.

Objections were also raised regarding time limits and the number of times representatives can speak during discussions, as well as submitting initiatives.

The opposition warned the current majority that with these amendments to the Rules of Procedure, they are endangering themselves, because no one guarantees them that they will be in power in the next term, and it is possible that they will be the opposition, limited by the Rules of Procedure they adopted today.

Furthermore, the opposition recalled the submitted appeal, which concerns the process of convening the previous two sessions, at which the conclusions of the parliamentary majority derogated the Rules of Procedure.

After Belmin Zukan, authorized by Mladen Bošković, commented on the deputies' discussions, Mahir Mešalić reacted: "Who are you people, who is this man? Who authorized Belmin Zukan to comment on our discussions, by what right does he qualify what deputies said. You are taking too many liberties, do not harass us. Vote it through, it's not a problem, but analyzing our discussions is beneath all dignity. Who are you people, you can't do this!? It would be best if Bošković gave us slips of paper and wrote what we should say, so we don't annoy you. I respect you, but you cannot do this".

The amendments to the Rules of Procedure were adopted with 52 votes in favor, 34 against, and no abstentions.
