(Patria) - The fiscal framework, officially proposed by BiH Minister of Finance Srđan Amidžić, was previously agreed upon between him and Chairperson Borjana Krišto and sent to the Fiscal Council.
At the session, all other members of the Fiscal Council voted for the framework, while representatives from Republika Srpska,
including Minister Amidžić, decided not to support it, i.e., not to vote.
Thus, the Minister of Finance refused to vote for the proposal he officially proposed, and the budget for 2026 remains blocked due to the actions of Republika Srpska personnel, announced today the Deputy Minister of Finance and Treasury of BiH Muhamed Hasanović.
