(Patria) - Vice President Kamala Harris, the Democratic presidential candidate, said on Friday that she would form a bipartisan advisory council to provide policy feedback if elected in the November 5 elections, Reuters reported.
Harris also said she would appoint a Republican to her cabinet.
"I don't want any 'yes' people. I want people to come... and shake things up with ideas," she said at an event in Arizona for Republicans supporting her campaign.
"So I will create a bipartisan council so we can put some structure around this point. And do the work that matters," she added.
She was in Nevada and Arizona from Wednesday to Friday, which are considered key states in the election. A recent Reuters/Ipsos poll showed Harris leading Republican rival Donald Trump by three percentage points.
