Chaos at Tour de France: Cyclists enraged after hitting nails scattered on the road

(Patria) - A bizarre incident occurred at the most famous cycling race in the world, the Tour de France.

In the final kilometer of the second stage in San Sebastian, several cyclists hit nails scattered on the road.

The rider Lilian Calmejane, who did not hide his disappointment with the event, posted a video of a punctured tire on his Twitter.

"Thank you for this kind of human bullshit… I don't think I was the only victim… Know that we can fall off our bikes and get seriously injured because of your bullshit, you morons," Calmejane stated.

Race organizers state that between 15 and 20 cyclists hit the nails, and the entire incident is under investigation, writes Autoklub.hr.
