Halilhodžić: I won't be the coach, but I will help the national team overcome the crisis

I am not a candidate for the coach of the BiH national football team, but that does not mean I will not continue talks with people from the BiH FA, but only about how and in what other way I can help the national team overcome the current crisis and try to qualify for the European Championship, although the chances, objectively speaking, are very minimal, said today BiH expert Vahid Halilhodžić for the portal novasloboda.ba, reports the BiH news agency Patria.

- In Makarska, we talked about the current situation of BiH football, especially about the national team. And I said then that at this moment I am not ready to return to BiH, because I have other plans. I read in the media that there are chances I might take over the national team, but I am not a person who makes false promises. We can continue to talk, but my decision not to accept the position of coach of the BiH national team is final -  said Hallihodžić, who arrived in Mostar with his wife today.

Although a meeting between the delegation of the Football Association of BiH led by Elvedin Begić and Halilhodžić was supposed to take place today, there is still no official confirmation, but everything is still possible.
