Halilagić discussed with representatives of the Club of Delegates of the Bosniak People in the FBiH Parliament

(Patria) - Prime Minister of Tuzla Canton (TK) Irfan Halilagić received a delegation of members of the Club of Delegates of the Bosniak People in the House of Peoples of the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina today for a working visit, led by President Muamer Zukić.

During the meeting, they discussed strengthening inter-institutional cooperation and issues of interest to TK.

Halilagić informed the guests about the key development priorities of TK, emphasizing the need for stronger support from the federal level of government in their implementation, especially in areas important for improving the quality of life of TK citizens, highlighting first and foremost the necessity of better road connections of TK with Sarajevo as the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the south, and also with Brčko District to the north.

The interlocutors emphasized the importance of continuous dialogue, coordination, and cooperation between the legislative and executive authorities at all levels, with the aim of creating prerequisites for the balanced development of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Bosnia and Herzegovina as a whole.

A joint readiness was expressed to continue and improve cooperation, with an exchange of experiences and good practices in the work of institutions.

Prime Minister Halilagić thanked the representatives of the Club of Delegates of the Bosniak People for their visit and expressed readiness for constructive dialogue, emphasizing that such meetings are important for strengthening trust and joint action of institutions.

He also presented what the TK Government has done in the past period, especially in the areas of security, health, and education.

- I thank the representatives of the Club of Delegates of the Bosniak People for their visit and open discussion. I am convinced that, by setting aside party differences and focusing on the interests of the citizens, we can improve cooperation at all levels of government and jointly work on projects that will contribute to a better quality of life for the citizens of TK - said Halilagić.

Club President Muamer Zukić emphasized that the purpose of the visit was to talk with representatives of the executive authorities in the field, and that the Club of Delegates of the Bosniak People acts united and above party politics, with the aim of providing support within its competencies.

- We have said many times, at all these meetings, that the highest vital interest of the Bosniak people is Bosnia and Herzegovina, the state of all its citizens and peoples, throughout its entire territory, and these are actually our national values, universal human values, around which everyone should be able to unite immediately - said Zukić.

Delegate Haris Zahiragić pointed out two aspects of today's visit.

- One is to support the work of the now experienced Prime Minister Halilagić, who leads a team of people, a team of ministers and deputies in the Assembly who have made the Canton recognizable throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina.

We want to support the results of his work, specifically in certain areas such as security, but also to hear what their problems are. The second dimension of the visit is that we recognized the strength that TK has and asked them to strengthen their presence in Orašje, Odžak, Brčko, similar to their presence in Podrinje - said Zahiragić.

He emphasized that Tuzla Canton, "as one of the most important points in Bosnia and Herzegovina, will be the focus of the Club's work in the coming period".

The delegation of the Club of Delegates of the Bosniak People included, in addition to President Muamer Zukić, delegates Fahrudin Čolaković, Mirnes Bašić, Nezim Alagić, Eldin Delić, Damir Šišić, Hikmet Hodžić, Haris Zahiragić, Amra Babić, Azhar Sejarić, Senad Alić, and Amir Orlović, as well as officials from the House of Peoples of the FBiH Parliament Alma Varaki and Seada Smajić.
