Group of BiH citizens with ID cards entered Kosovo, welcomed by Deputy Prime Minister Emilija Redžepi

(Patria) - As of January 1, citizens of BiH can enter Kosovo with only their ID cards, and a few minutes after midnight, a group of BiH citizens arrived at the border crossing and entered the territory of Kosovo.

A larger group of citizens carried flags of BiH and Kosovo.

They were welcomed at the border by the Deputy Prime Minister of Kosovo, Emilija Redžepi. This indicates that Kosovo's visa-free regime for citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina has begun to function.

A larger delegation of the Community of Albanians of Bosnia and Herzegovina with Bosniak and Albanian intellectuals is expected to arrive in Kosovo in the coming days.
