
NOVI SAD, (Patria) - A Greek citizen who felt unwell at the Exit festival passed away at the Novi Sad Emergency Center, the Festival organizers announced. It is suspected that the young man died from the consequences of consuming a larger quantity of narcotics.
Exit announced that the Festival security noticed that one of the visitors felt unwell at the Upper Town of the Petrovaradin Fortress, after which he was provided with emergency medical assistance.
Other visitors, also Greek citizens who were present at the scene, stated in their statements to the Novi Sad Police Administration that the deceased had consumed a larger quantity of narcotics during the day, but also that he suffered from a chronic illness.
"Since its inception, the EXIT festival has advocated against any use of narcotics and will continue to act strongly in the field of prevention and raising awareness about the harmful effects of drugs," the Festival statement said.
