Gratz requests review of all hirings in institutions and public enterprises in FBiH during the Trojka mandate

(Patria) - DF representative Dennis Gratz submitted an initiative to the Government of FBiH, the Office for Audit of Institutions of FBiH, and the Speaker of the House of Representatives Dragan Mioković, regarding indications of the existence of a nepotistic-corruption octopus in the Trojka arrangement.

He requests that the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, through relevant ministries and supervisory boards, conduct an urgent and comprehensive internal review of all hirings in institutions and public enterprises of the Federation of BiH in the period from the beginning of the current Government's mandate to date, with a special focus on cases where there is suspicion of politically motivated hiring.

"The Office for Audit of Institutions of the Federation of BiH is tasked to, within its authority, conduct a special audit of the hiring process in institutions and public enterprises, with the aim of identifying potential abuses, political staffing, nepotism, and lack of transparency.

The Government of the Federation of BiH is requested to submit a detailed report on the results of the review from point 1 to the House of Representatives of the Parliament of FBiH within 60 days.

The Office for Audit of Institutions of FBiH is requested to inform the Parliament, and especially the Audit Committee, of the results of the special audit from point 2 immediately upon completion of the procedure.

Also, I ask the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mr. Mioković, for the purpose of preserving the dignity of this House, to prepare and propose a conclusion of this body expressing concern over possible abuses in the hiring process in the public sector for political purposes, and to demand an urgent response from the executive branch and competent audit institutions," stated Gratz.
