
(Patria) - East Sarajevo Mayor Ljubiša Ćosić commented on the announcement of charging entry to Trebević Nature Park.
Ćosić explained that entry by car would be charged, and that people who live on Trebević would be exempt from payment.
"In all protected areas in the world, an entry fee is charged," said Ćosić, as reported by RTRS.
He stated that the Trebević Nature Park was established by a decision of the Republika Srpska Government with the aim of protecting, developing and managing natural resources, and that the future of its operation depends on the responsibility of the municipalities of Pale, East Stari Grad and East Novo Sarajevo.
He then stated that by a decision of the Republika Srpska Government, the Nature Park was given to the city of East Sarajevo for management.
"When we established the Public Institution Trebević Nature Park, we implemented it with the municipalities of Pale, East Stari Grad and East Novo Sarajevo," said Ćosić.
