Mayor Karić reports Amir Gross Kabiri to the Federal Police: He threatens me and sends me pictures of murdered children, I am afraid for my son

(Patria) - The Mayor of Sarajevo and Vice President of the SDP BiH, Benjamina Karić, informed the public that she filed a report with the Federal Police Administration against the President of the Abraham Group and Executive Director of Aluminij, Amir Gross Kabiri. She stated that she was forced to take this step because she has been a victim of constant and almost daily harassment by Kabiri for several months.

"From the position of mayor, I did everything in my power to fight against all types of violence, especially against women, but I became a victim of it myself. I became the target of this man the moment I did not allow the plaque at the City Hall to be covered for the needs of marking the State of Israel Day, as well as for several other requests I considered provocative, although I was ready to concede everything else.

The attacks became more brutal at the moment when I publicly condemned the killing of innocent civilians in Palestine, but also the killing of innocent civilians in Israel. Since that day, Amir Gross Kabiri, both publicly and secretly, has been sending photos of murdered children to my social media inbox, accusing me of supporting Hamas, condemning my condemnation of the killing of innocents in Gaza. Through his posts, he motivates and calls on his supporters to do the same as he does. He shares and sends videos and photos of brutal murders and abuse to me personally, along with messages that I understood as a threat to the safety of not only myself but also my family, telling me that 'history will judge me very soon' and that my views 'will not be forgiven,' etc.

I did not intend to react in the way I did, but after Kabiri's increasingly frequent messages, I felt threatened, scared, most of all for my three-year-old child, and I filed a report. In addition to the report to the Federal Police Administration, I will also file a lawsuit for defamation.

I thank the experts from the Federal Police Administration who acted professionally and, within the scope of their capabilities, took all necessary measures," stated Mayor Karić.
