Vogošća Residents to Get Heating: BAGS Energotehnika to Borrow 150 Tons of Fuel Oil from KS Commodity Reserves Directorate

(Patria) - At the proposal of the Ministry of Communal Economy, Infrastructure, Spatial Development, Construction and Environmental Protection, the Government of Sarajevo Canton adopted a conclusion on March 14, 2025, tasking the Sarajevo Canton Commodity Reserves Directorate to, within its competences, provide a loan of medium-grade fuel oil (LUS-I) to the company BAGS Energotehnika d.d. Vogošća in the amount of up to 150 tons, in order to ensure the continuation of heat energy production for the needs of district heating for users in collective housing facilities, as well as employees and users of facilities in the fields of education, healthcare, and public administration in the Municipality of Vogošća.

The Ministry of Communal Economy, Infrastructure, Spatial Development, Construction and Environmental Protection of Sarajevo Canton, the Sarajevo Canton Commodity Reserves Directorate, and BAGS Energotehnika d.d. Vogošća are tasked with the implementation of this conclusion, each within their respective competences.

A contract for a short-term loan of 150 tons of fuel oil was signed on March 17, 2025, between the KS Commodity Reserves Directorate, the company BAGS Energotehnika d.d. Vogošća, and the Ministry of Communal Economy, Infrastructure, Spatial Development, Construction and Environmental Protection.

"Given that the KS Government has fulfilled all its obligations regarding the heating problem in Vogošća, citizens should seek information for all further questions from the company BAGS Energotehnika d.d. Vogošća," stated the relevant ministry.
