City of Sarajevo and FlyBosnia in a joint tourism promotion project

SARAJevo, (Patria) - By signing a Cooperation Agreement, the start of a promotional campaign between the City of Sarajevo, Public Company Sarajevo d.o.o. and BH airline FlyBosnia was formalized today at a press conference, with the aim of strengthening the tourist offer and familiarizing tourists with some of the biggest tourist attractions, the Trebević Cable Car and the Sarajevo City Hall.

The signatories of the Agreement, Director of JP Sarajevo d.o.o., Ensar Eminović, and Director of the company “FlyBosnia“, Tarik Bilalbegović, emphasized that this cooperation was prompted by the increasing number of passengers arriving in Sarajevo by this company's flights.

It was agreed that special benefits will be offered to passengers when visiting the Cable Car and City Hall, and through informational leaflets on the aforementioned company's flights, they will be introduced not only to the Cable Car and City Hall, but also to the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

“The City of Sarajevo wants to attract them in this way, but also to welcome them to the capital city, and to establish a public-private partnership model in the interest of the citizens. The campaign will contribute to the better operation of the Cable Car and City Hall, and every mark earned by JP Sarajevo will be returned to the citizens of Sarajevo. I thank the Mayor, Abdulah Skaka, who initiated this very high-quality and creative cooperation,” stated the Director of JP Sarajevo d.o.o., Ensar Eminović.

Vouchers for special benefits are printed on the tickets, i.e., the boarding pass for all FlyBosnia passengers, and with them, they are entitled to a welcome gift and other benefits, which can be learned about in detail on the website.

All passengers will also receive a promotional leaflet introducing them to the Cable Car and City Hall, so in a way, their first contact with Sarajevo will be precisely this welcome.

This is just one of a series of projects through which the promotion of Sarajevo as a tourist destination is creatively and qualitatively improved, it was announced from the Sarajevo City Administration.
