(Patria) - The City of Mostar informed citizens and all users of public services on Tuesday that all supplies of citizenship certificate forms have been used up, and a shortage of birth certificate extracts is expected.
They emphasized that the City of Mostar had timely responded to all requests related to the preparation of procurement plans and the submission of data for the annual procurement of forms.
"By letter number: 04-11-5550/25 dated 03.04.2025, we contacted the Federal MUP and submitted a tabular overview of the needs for the procurement of civil registries and extracts from civil registries, citizenship certificates, extracts intended for abroad, and marriage certificates for the City of Mostar for 2025. However, to date we have received no information regarding the realization of this procurement," said the City of Mostar.
As they stated, the City of Mostar, as a regional center housing a large number of state bodies, schools, higher education institutions, and other institutions that are currently announcing tenders, advertisements, and calls, along with a large number of citizens arriving from abroad to resolve their civil status matters, will not be able to respond to their requests due to the lack of the mentioned forms.
"To mitigate the aforementioned situation, we can issue a certificate of data from the civil registry, stating the necessary facts as evidence in a specific procedure, for which we have already informed certain state institutions," concluded the City of Mostar.
