Grace and Winning Spirit Marked VICTORIA CUP

(Patria) - The fifth international rhythmic gymnastics tournament VICTORIA CUP 2019, held last weekend in Sarajevo, was marked by grace and a winning spirit. A total of 500 competitors aged 3 to 17 presented themselves in the best light with routines with and without apparatus in the A, B, B light, and national programs, as well as group routines in the A and B programs.

"I congratulate all the competitors who showed their qualities at this tournament. I also thank all the clubs that have shown us trust and participated in the VICTORIA CUP, as well as the sponsors who have supported our youth and their efforts, which will one day result in the development of the best human values in each of these girls. During the all-day program on Saturday, the audience enjoyed outstanding performances on the carpet, and next to it, they could see dozens of girls working hard and preparing for their two minutes at any moment. That is what fulfills us, we are happy, grateful, and very satisfied," says KRG Victoria coach Almedina Zajko.

During the opening ceremony of the tournament, the young prospects of KRG Victoria were declared: Sajra Mulahmetović, Arisa Salihagić, Lamija Spahić, Ajna Subašić, Emina Karović, Dalal Hafizović, Ajša Džakmić, Saira Bezdrob, while at the awards ceremony, the most promising A-program competitors of KRG Victoria were declared pre-juniors Ajna Maljanović and Ena Poturak, and juniors Hena Alihodžić, Ena Gavranović.

Special awards were also given to competitors who достойно represent the club at tournaments outside of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and they are pre-juniors Hened Borovac-Bekaj, Alma Ćupina, Hena Ahmetspahić, Džana Dervišević, and juniors Adna Efendić, Amani Borovac-Bekaj. The beauties of the fifth VICTORIA CUP are Saša Jovanović member of GK "Prior", Sara Ćorluka GK "Maksimir", Ayani Musa from KRG "BosnaGym", and Jovana Šilj from KRG "Arabesque". The youngest competitor of the 5th VICTORIA CUP was three-year-old Tajra Ema Mulahmetović, a member of the host club.

Participants in the 5th International Rhythmic Gymnastics Tournament VICTORIA CUP 2019 included TSV Bayer Leverkusen (Germany), GK "Makesimir", GK "Šibenik", and KRG "Nebo" from Croatia, GK "Palestra" and KRG "Sat" from Serbia, GK "Prior" from Montenegro, and KRG "Čelik", "Visoko", "Arabesque", "BosnaGym", "Takt", "Željezničar", "Bubamara", "Olimpik", GK "Olimp", and the host club KRG Victoria.
