Grabovica: Even with the electricity price increase, we have the lowest price in the region

There has been no electricity price increase for four years, and it should be known that even this price per kilowatt is the cheapest electricity price in the region, said Elvedin Grabovica, General Director of EP BiH for the BiH news agency Patria after today's FERK decision.

The decision of the Regulatory Agency for Energy of the Federation of BiH (FERK) relates to the increase in the price of electricity. Thus, the price for households will increase by 4.33 percent for EPBiH users, 1.97 percent for EPHZHB users, and commercial service users will pay 0.88% more or 3.5% less.

- Based on the analysis of all costs and operations, FERK is the one authorized to assess what the price of electricity should be, not the power companies. That is their jurisdiction – Grabovica told NAP.

He also said that the price of electricity is no higher than the bills for other services.

- Every household will easily recalculate that – Grabovica said.
