(Patria) - The first Wi-Fi hotspot within the WiFi4WesternBalkans initiative in Bosnia and Herzegovina was activated today at the Milanović House in Banja Luka.
In this way, the introduction of free and reliable internet in public spaces across our country begins.
With the financial support of the European Union, free Wi-Fi will be introduced at designated public locations in 116 municipalities in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Citizens will thus have free access to the internet in parks, squares, cultural centers, and other spaces.
WiFi4WB is part of a broader regional initiative and part of the EU4Digital project, funded by the EU and Germany, and implemented by GIZ.
