Bitter victory for basketball players: Injuries to Buza and Gordić, BH Basketball Federation to decide on coach

The Bosnia and Herzegovina national basketball team defeated Sweden in Stockholm on Wednesday evening with a score of 78:76 in a tense finish, but failed to qualify for EuroBasket 2017, writes the Bosnian news agency Patria.

This victory was overshadowed by two serious injuries to two BH national team players, Nedim Buza, who broke his lower leg, and Nemanja Gordić, who suffered a fracture in the bone of his left hand, and both will be sidelined for several months.

Also, from the stands of the hall in Stockholm, fans sent a message to the BH Basketball Federation: "Our coach is a traitor, our game is a trumpet, shame on you Federation, you are servants of politics."

According to all indications, the BH Basketball Federation will very soon comment on the events that have stirred relations within the national team, which escalated after the match with Russia, as well as on the (re)appointment of coach Damir Mulaomerović to this position.
