(Patria) - The Supervisory Board of the Goražde-based company Ginex accepted the Management's proposal to increase the hourly wage to 6.15 KM for a period of six months in the afternoon hours.
Workers had earlier today halted production after the Supervisory Board, during a telephone session, rejected the Management's proposal to increase the hourly wage in line with the workers' demand, but for a period of up to six months.
The Management's proposal was also to assess the impacts on the company's operations in the meantime and to initiate new negotiations and harmonization.
Workers waited for hours in front of the Management building for the newly arisen situation to be resolved.
Initially, it was said that the Supervisory Board would maintain its earlier position. However, this changed after numerous discussions, including those between Mayor Ernest Imamović and Federal Prime Minister Nermin Nikšić.
