(Patria) - After the BiH Minister of Defence Zukan Helez stated that our country will cease military cooperation with Serbia, his deputy Aleksandar Goganović also commented.
Goganović says that Helez cannot cease military cooperation with Serbia.
He says that Željka Cvijanović, a member of the BiH Presidency from the Serb people, will not allow the cessation of military cooperation.
Goganović says that Helez cannot cease military-bilateral cooperation with Serbia, as it is not within his jurisdiction, but rather within the jurisdiction of the BiH Presidency.
"This is another irresponsible move by colleague Helez, because the messages we are receiving from the international community also indicate that strong neighborly cooperation is needed, which contributes to peace and stability in this part of Europe. A peaceful and stable Balkans contributes to peace in Europe," Goganović told RTRs.
Helez stated at a press conference today that the BiH Ministry of Defence is ceasing all cooperation with the Ministry of Defence of Serbia, except for the training of cadets at the Military Academy, until an apology from the Minister of Defence of Serbia, Bratislav Gašić.
