Anniversary of the founding of HDZ 1990: We continue the fight for a European and employed Bosnia and Herzegovina

On this day, April 8, 2006, HDZ 1990 was founded, the party recalls, as reported by the Patria news agency.

HDZ 1990 states that a group of people from the then joint HDZ could not accept the disastrous political direction, both for the Croatian people and for Bosnia and Herzegovina as a whole, and decided to found a new party.

The founders of HDZ 1990 announced to the public in April 2006: „Instead of fighting for a party seal, we chose to fight for the interests of the people.“

- HDZ 1990 has been, from its founding to the present day, a party that acts for the common good and in the interest of the people. There were also individuals who, driven by different interests and goals, came, but also left with their heads bowed, while HDZ 1990 as an idea only grew stronger.

Today, HDZ 1990 represents greater support than ever before, which manifests the correctness of its positions and political path, but also the responsibility to persevere in the fight for a better and happier future for our country and all its peoples, citizens, and people.

As a Croatian party, with Bosnian-Herzegovinian responsibility and a European profile, we continue the fight for a better, fairer, more equal, European, and employed Bosnia and Herzegovina – the party's statement reads, as reported by NAP.
