Main Committee of SDS confirms: Branko Blanuša candidate for President of RS

(Patria) - The Main Committee of the Serbian Democratic Party (SDS) at today's session confirmed the candidacy of Branko Blanuša for the President of the entity RS.

From SDS they point out that, as the largest opposition force in RS, they have made maximum effort in negotiations with all opposition subjects to achieve a joint appearance in the upcoming elections.

"We invite all opposition political subjects and people of good will to unite around the candidacy of Branko Blanuša and together defeat corruption, crime and institutional arrogance.

SDS will, based on the decision of the Main Committee, officially send an offer to the Movement Safe Srpska to propose the name of a joint candidate for the Serbian member of the Presidency of BiH.

In the upcoming General Elections, SDS will run with independent lists for the NSRS and the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH.

SDS remains firmly committed to the broadest opposition unity that will restore citizens' hope in a better Republika Srpska," the party announced.
