Main Committee of SBiH: State property is the ownership of the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina

(Patria) - At today's session of the Main Committee of the Party for Bosnia and Herzegovina, five conclusions were adopted and the leadership of the Main Committee was elected.

Below we convey all the conclusions:

1. State property of Bosnia and Herzegovina

The Main Committee of the Party for Bosnia and Herzegovina confirms the position that state property is exclusively the ownership of the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina as its sole holder. The position of the Party for Bosnia and Herzegovina remains unchanged on this matter! The negotiating team of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Dayton, in which the founder of the Party for Bosnia and Herzegovina, Haris Silajdžić, participated, did not accept the division of state property even under pressure, even at the cost of continuing the aggression against BiH.

The Constitution of BiH is clear on this matter, and the Constitutional Court of BiH has issued decisions according to which state property belongs exclusively to the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Only in this way can it serve all citizens of BiH throughout the entire territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Main Committee rejects all attempts to transfer or register state property to lower levels of government and calls on competent domestic and international institutions to protect the constitutional order and territorial integrity of Bosnia and Herzegovina. All those political actors who would accept any talks about changing the status of state property would be direct accomplices in the division of the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina!

2. Election of the High Representative in Bosnia and Herzegovina

The Main Committee of the Party for Bosnia and Herzegovina supports the institution of the High Representative as an integral part of the Dayton Peace Agreement and a guarantor of its implementation, with full support for the use of the Bonn Powers. We consider unacceptable the attempts to challenge the legitimacy of the High Representative by domestic and regional political actors who systematically undermine the constitutional order of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and we call on the international community to, in accordance with the mechanisms through the Office of the High Representative, react decisively to any form of anti-constitutional activity.

3. Stalling of Euro-Atlantic integrations of Bosnia and Herzegovina

The Main Committee of the Party for Bosnia and Herzegovina expresses serious concern over the almost complete halt in the process of European and NATO integrations of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Responsibility for this situation lies with the policies of blockades and blackmail carried out by SNSD and HDZ BiH, but also with the inefficiency and political inadequacy of the parties of the Troika, which have failed to ensure progress on key reform processes. The Party for BiH believes that membership in the European Union and NATO alliance still has no alternative and will insist on a more active and decisive state policy in that direction.

4. Economic situation and protection of the domestic economy

The Main Committee of the Party for Bosnia and Herzegovina warns of the continuous deterioration of the economic position of citizens due to the rise in prices of basic foodstuffs, energy, and services, while at the same time adequate government measures to protect the living standard of the population are absent. Particular concern is caused by the collapse and closure of strategically important industrial systems such as the Zenica Steelworks,

the Lukavac Coking Plant, which directly threatens thousands of jobs and the long-term economic stability of the country. The Party for BiH demands the urgent adoption of measures to support domestic production, reduce the fiscal burden on the economy, protect jobs, and launch a new investment cycle in the real sector.

5. General elections 2026

The Main Committee of the Party for Bosnia and Herzegovina assesses that the General Elections in 2026 will represent one of the most important political turning points for the future of the state. The Party for BiH will offer citizens a clear program of economic development, strengthening state institutions, fighting corruption, and accelerating Euro-Atlantic integrations. We call on citizens to contribute through active participation to the changes that will ensure stability, development, and security for Bosnia and Herzegovina.

6. Election of leadership

At the constitutive session of the Main Committee of SBiH, the leadership of the Party's Main Committee was elected. Asim Čajlaković was unanimously elected President of the Main Committee of SBiH, and Karolina Karačić, Žarko Vujović, Samra Mehić, and Faruk Đozić were elected Deputy Presidents of the Main Committee of SBiH.

Džemal Smajić was re-elected as Secretary General of the Party for Bosnia and Herzegovina.
