BiH's capital hosts combat sports event 'Sarajevo Fighting Challenge'

(Patria)- The capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina will today host the combat sports event "Sarajevo Fighting Challenge".

This excellent sports event will be held starting at 12 PM in the "Srce" hall in Buća Potok.

- The third amateur MMA event "Sarajevo Fighting Challenge" - SFC 3 will gather more than 50 fighters from BiH and the region. Our tournament is of a regional character, and so far, we have successfully organized one international event and one dedicated exclusively to fighters from Bosnia and Herzegovina. The competition should end at 6 PM. I believe the audience will come in as large numbers as possible and enjoy top-notch fights - says one of the organizers, Amar Orić.

As the first organization in Bosnia and Herzegovina dedicated exclusively to amateur MMA sports, the goal of the event is to promote and expand this type of sport throughout the country.

- Behind the event is a team of young people for whom the support of sponsors NLB Bank, ASA Bank, Admiral, security agency "BH Sigurnost", BH Telecom, and the Ministry of Culture and Sports of Sarajevo Canton is especially important. Combat sports are enjoying increasing popularity in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and our tournament is proof of that. In recent years, MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) has been in great expansion. It is a modern combat sport that is a powerful combination of many fighting styles (boxing, Muay Thai, wrestling, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, judo).
