(Patria) - Several hundred citizens, mostly young people, gathered today in Hadžići in support of Palestine.
The gathering began at 4:00 PM, and the protest walk titled "Voice for Palestine" was organized by the Association for Cooperation and Environmental Improvement and the Palestinian Community in BiH.
"Palestine will be free", "Justice for Palestine", "You will never erase Palestine and Gaza - they are not for sale", "Gaza hurts, but it breathes", "On the right side of history", "Children are not targets", "Gaza deserves a childhood"...
These are just some of the messages that could be seen on the banners held by the youth.
In addition to banners, the colors of Palestine dominated the protest, as did symbols representing it, such as the watermelon, the flag, and the recognizable "keffiyeh" (a traditional Arab scarf that has become a strong political symbol of resistance and freedom in Palestine, and is now recognized worldwide as a sign of solidarity with Palestine).
This is a March of Solidarity - a peaceful protest walk taking place as part of the "Voice for Palestine" project, dedicated to Palestinian children killed in Gaza and throughout Palestine.
The organizers stated that the goal of this project and protest is to remember the lives that have been extinguished and to send a strong message against Israeli crimes, which the UN Commission recently characterized as genocide.
