Vote in the RS National Assembly Comes at a Price: Bought "Papak" Stevančević Delivers Wish List to Dodik

Although last week the President of RS and SNSD leader Milorad Dodik publicly stated that Ilija Stevančević, president of the Party of United Pensioners (PUP) who, until the formation of the parliamentary majority in the National Assembly of RS, was in the Alliance for Change RS, was not bought, and that his only condition was a 3% increase in pensions for all pensioners, the truth about the dirty trade for chairs and power has nevertheless come to light, writes the Bosnian news agency Patria.

Stevančević sent a list of demands to Dodik and the Government of RS. Thus, among other things, he is seeking the position of director of the Pension and Disability Insurance Fund of RS and its Banja Luka branch, as well as the position of advisor in the Ministry of Labour and Veterans and Disability Protection of RS.

In the written request signed by Stevančević, addressed in addition to Dodik also to the presidents of DNS and SP, Marko Pavić and Petar Đokić, it is stated that for his vote he expects his delegate in the Council of Peoples of RS, two forest estates or two administrations in the public enterprise "Šume Republike Srpske", and participation in the management and supervisory boards of the Pension and Disability Insurance Fund, "Šume Republike Srpske", "Pošta Srpske", and priority employment for children of fallen soldiers and pensioners.

The wish list does not end there. The bought Stevančević demands that in all major cities, business premises be provided for the work of his party's city committees.

At the end of the list, Stevančević, probably to show that he cares about his colleagues, also requested an extraordinary increase in pensions of 10 or 5 percent, depending on their amount, and that payment be regular by the 10th of the month.

TOOK 50,000 KM FROM SDS

In February, Stevančević left the joint PUP-Socialist Party parliamentary club because his party "was not given any function in the government and public enterprises of Republika Srpska". After that, as Patria has already written, he received 50,000 KM from the SDS to join the Alliance for Change RS. However, as Dodik, who yesterday himself confirmed that he personally negotiated with the MPs who entered the parliamentary majority, offered more than he received from Mladen Bosić's party, Ilija Stevančević sided with the SNSD bloc at the constitutive session on November 24.
