(Patria) - United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres sent a congratulatory message to the Chairwoman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Željka Cvijanović, on the occasion of Bosnia and Herzegovina's Independence Day.
"National celebrations provide an opportunity to reflect on shared global challenges. The international community faces an increasing number of tests that require multilateral solutions - from the climate crisis, through conflicts, to growing inequalities," Guterres wrote.
He underscored the importance of the "Pact for the Future," which the UN General Assembly adopted last year and which, as he stated, reflects a commitment to peace, sustainable development, and human rights for all.
Guterres concluded by extending his best wishes to the people of Bosnia and Herzegovina on this significant holiday.
