Where would the best Dragons play if they were in BiH's government: See the lineup!

The Dragons have, one might say, already drunk their fill. Their qualification for the world football gathering in Brazil is a historic event for the country whose colors they defend on the green field. Regardless of how they fare in the matches with Argentina, Nigeria, and Iran, Safet Sušić's protégés have reached where generations before them did not.

Bosnia and Herzegovina has been celebrating them for weeks. The ill-wishers and ominous predictors who foresaw dark scenarios for this country have been silenced. Džeko's and Ibišević's goals were stakes in the hearts of the bloodsuckers who have been draining money from this country for years, while hating it in their hearts and wishing it ill.

The Dragons have transcended divisions and overcome conflicts, at least for the duration of the World Cup.

However, when the curtain falls in Brazil, the country will need the Dragons, not just on the green field, but much more often and stronger at the green tables on the political field. But, we can only dream of such "political Dragons" for now.

Therefore, in the euphoria of Brazil, the BiH news agency Patria will dream about which positions Sušić's Dragons would play in BiH's political match. Take a look at the list of positions our 11 best players would occupy if they were politicians, plus the coach.

Safet Sušić – Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Sušić has the calmness and vision to, as the head of state should, distribute the work properly. Sušić has international reputation and experience. His measured approach would be beneficial for a country in constant internal turmoil. Sušić would know whom to propose for prime minister and how to adopt a realistic budget.

Edin Džeko – Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Džeko's perfect sports career, persistence, and ability are virtues that every citizen would wish for their prime minister. Džeko did not give up even when he was booed by the fans at Grbavica stadium as a young player. Today, he is a world-class player and person. BiH should have someone like that in the prime minister's chair.

Zvjezdan Misimović - Minister of Finance. Zvjezdan has a fantastic ability to save and distribute balls. He would certainly do the same if he managed the state treasury. He would protect the ball, pardon, the budget when needed, but he would also spend it exactly where it is needed. For example, he would give it to Džeko to invest in the road infrastructure network and similar projects. Otherwise, Zvjezdan might seem slow at times, but he always reaches his goal.

Miralem Pjanić - Speaker of the House of Representatives. Pjanić's creativity would be a great asset for the head of Parliament. They are expected to innovate, correct, and develop laws, procedures, and the functionality of the state. Just as Pjanić ensures our national team is a functional machine, he would, at the head of Parliament, surely dribble past all blockades and slide tackles of obstructionists.

Izet Hajrović – Ambassador to Turkey. Young Hajrović is a creative player with a special assignment. The goal in Žilina, Slovakia, was a historic achievement for BiH and deserved at least an ambassadorial title. Too young for higher positions, Hajrović could start as an ambassador, for example, in Turkey. And in the future, who knows.

Senad Lulić and Sejad Salihović - Minister of Foreign Affairs and Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations. Lulić and Salihović, from the wings, could connect BiH with foreign investors. Just as their passes find Džeko in the penalty area, these two could find partners and investors. An economy that would benefit from the precision and heart these two players possess would develop like mushrooms after rain.

Muhamed Bešić - Chairman of the House of Peoples. The young player should be delegated to lead the House of Peoples of BiH. The way he corrects the midfield play and breaks up all opposing attacks is a perfect model for how the House of Peoples, if it were functioning properly, could break up attacks on the constitutional order and protect the rights of peoples and citizens.

Sead Kolašinac - Minister of Security. This needs little explanation. The security that Kolašinac instills in everyone and the fear he instills in anyone who threatens the state and its goal are the true references for this position. With him, there would truly be no untouchables.

Emir Spahić - Minister of Defense. The national team captain shows great organizational skills and determination. Spahić could also hold a higher position, but the defense of the country is extremely important, and that post needs to be filled by a reliable and quality player. If Spaha were Minister of Defense, perhaps we wouldn't even need NATO completely. In fact, knowing his mobilization abilities, he would have us join the strongest military-political alliance by tomorrow.

Mensur Mujdža - Minister of Civil Affairs. A hard worker and patriot like Mujdža is an excellent option for the position of Minister of Civil Affairs. This ministry has many authorities and sectors. When it functions, the entire country is active, but when it is blocked, the blockades are insurmountable. Mujdža is an important link in Sušić's team, sometimes unnoticeable, but he completes the work that cannot be done without.

Asmir Begović - High Representative. Our tallest player is suited for the position of High Representative. The head of the OHR must defend the constitution just as Begović defends our goal. It is the last line of defense, and if Begović, or rather the High Representative, does not do his job, the entire country suffers. If Begović were Inzko, BiH would be Switzerland.
