Tired of ignorance, burdened by post-communist complexes, and under the impact of serious brain atrophy, Bosniaks are these days storming regional and world tourist destinations, as well as seriously attacking the meat industry. The Bosniak nobility has scattered across the globe, or as one comrade would say, tender efendis and tender enthusiasts, along with budget buffoons. Those who curse the state all year round due to the arrogance of the former, complaining about everything, have, according to their means, occupied picnic spots, rivers, mountains, and every space where they could place themselves and their May Day paraphernalia.
When the first ones return from exotic destinations, and the alcohol evaporates from the brains of the latter, they will realize that Tito's era is a long-gone time everywhere in the world. The only question is whether they will understand the need to turn off the grills, because the country is burning.
Many of them did not understand this even when the fascist criminal hordes, composed of domestic secessionists and Serbian mercenaries, were slaughtering and killing indiscriminately, and a blaze threatening destruction loomed over the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The war caught them unprepared, because at that time the opium of brotherhood and unity had not evaporated in time, perhaps even worse than the alcoholic May Day one.
What is the new normal today is the fact that you will meet people on every inch of the country asking "will there be war", without understanding why they are asking, because again, just like in the nineties, they do not believe there will be war, that "the world will allow it", that the neighbor will kill again…
Bosniaks as a nation mature with difficulty, and learn from the hardest lessons even more with difficulty. Even the fact that they survived one convicted and several unconvicted genocides, systematic ethnic cleansing, rape, has apparently not been enough to make them wiser and teach them continuous vigilance. Because, the lesson from the aggression of the nineties says that wherever they were vigilant, the aggressors did not succeed in their intentions.
Today, Bosniaks/Bosnians and Herzegovinians are again sleeping a deep sleep, saddened by the celebration of a holiday that commemorates struggle but is celebrated with overeating. Science has long proven that when the stomach is overfilled, the brain is unusable. And this applies to both the Bosniak nobility and their oppressed followers.
And the country is smoldering, smoking seriously, and the fire is about to erupt. Many know this, few confirm it. Because, as Dragan Bursać said yesterday, Milorad Dodik's secession is not something that might happen tomorrow, it has been happening and ongoing for at least a year.
In the entity created on the indiscriminate slaughter of Bosniaks in the nineties, a parallel system functions today, which drains money from the state on various grounds, and then uses that money to kill the same state. And all this is allowed by domestic and foreign policies, which, on the eve of May Day, allowed a discussion about the fate of Bosnia.
Because, in that discussion, Russian Ambassador Nebenzya told the UN Security Council that Bosnia and Herzegovina no longer has the status of a sovereign state and that the destabilization of the Balkans cannot be ruled out. Therefore, this is a clear projection of a future without Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Chinese ambassador also supported the Russian ambassador, stating in the discussion that "Bosnia and Herzegovina is a political system composed of entities and the Brčko District". All this leads to the definition of Bosnia and Herzegovina as a confederation, which opens up the possibility of a solution at the international level according to the Cyprus scenario for our country.
The politically under-capacitated representatives of the Trojka did not contribute to preventing such a fate for Bosnia and Herzegovina, as ministers Zukan Helez, Elmedin Konaković, and Ramo Isak served as the main weapon for Banja Luka and Belgrade to accuse the Bosnian side of radicalizing relations.
In all of this, the one who, by virtue of his position, should have been wiser, led the way. Elmedin Konaković, instead of strategizing and working behind the scenes, ran into the backfield and ended up as fuel for the Greater Serbian world. That is why Professor Dušan Janjić is absolutely right when he says about Konaković that he, as an "awkward center, gave legitimacy to Vučić". It should be added that this is the same Konaković who, after the imposition of the Trojka as part of the government at the state and federal levels, offered compromise with the 'Serbian world' and its figureheads Vučić and Dodik.
After the discussion in the Security Council, as well as summarizing the messages and (in)actions of the past few months, it is evident that the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina is like a ship trapped among the waves of international conflicts on a geopolitical level, as well as regional hegemonic pretensions that exploit absolute and quite projected internal division and disunity.
The fact that we heard calls for a return to the Dayton Peace Agreement in the UN Security Council is enough to show that peace in our country has been seriously violated with the intention of being threatened. And such a state is called pre-war, so the question is who is in the mood for any celebration in such a state.
That return to the Dayton Peace Agreement, if one listens to and understands Professor Francis Boyle, reads as follows: "Holbrooke wrote Dayton with the intention that it would last 15 years, because America calculated that in those 15 years Serbia and Croatia would dismember Bosnia and Herzegovina".
Perhaps, instead of continuous attempts to return to Dayton, Bosnian (pro-state) policy should return to state interests, which are its survival, sovereignty, and territorial integrity. Because, what we heard in the UN SC, as well as what we have been hearing for a long time, indicates the need to leave Dayton in history. Because, those who led to Dayton have again embarked on the old paths of aggression. And that means that war is an option, only someone needs to explain that to politicians and citizens!
